Get out a voltmeter and check out the voltage. Also, does high beam work better then low beam?

The light gets a little brighter with the high beam but basically the same thing...one dim and one bright...

The weakest part in the headlight wiring is the bulb connector itself.

Pull the bulb & check the connector. You must have shinny bright metal-to-metal contact.

You may also see that the plastic connector is scorched if the problem is there.

See if you can crimp the connector clips to get a tighter grip on the bulb tabs.

Voltmeter will tell the tale of low voltage and poor grounds.
