having a idle issue need a little help
okay i havent driven my car in a few months its been in the garage right before i put it in my garage i got a exhaust leak but car drove fine no problems just a lil louder, ive started it every so often let it warm up without driving it last time i started it was 2 weeks ago idled fine everything was good now today it cranked up and ran rough and wouldn't hold a a steady idle just die out so i figured maybe it could be the gas went bad so i added 2gallons of fresh gas it wil now somewhat hold a idle for a little bit but still die out i drove it drives fine pulls fine till you come to a stop it dies out, these are a few things ima check mass air flow sensor, vacuum leak, throttle body, battery grounded, fuel pump anybody have any ideas what it can be i find it strange everything was fine 2 weeks ago

This is happening to my car as well. I own a 1987 RX-7 Turbo II with very minor aftermarket upgrades. I decided to do a tune up on my car a 3 months back and after finishing all the work (oil change, coolant, lsd, spark plugs + wires, and fuel filter) the car runs much stronger that before but at a red light the car would die out. My car was flooding though and I'm not sure why. I think I might have knocked off a sensor because my stock boost gauge is no longer working after the tune up and my car was flooding for sure. Not to mention I have an electrical problem...so after every time my car would die I need to jump start it (working on replacing the wiring). Before the tune up my car was running fine, all I needed to do was jump start it but it never did the very low idle and die out like it's doing now. I'm going to check the MAS for sure because after doing multiple searches that seems to come up a lot. Could my electrical problem maybe be an issue? Hopefully the answers we get fix both our problems. Thank you all in advance for any advice or help you can give us.

EDIT:
If your Boost gauge is not working then check the Boost sensor as it provides the signal to the Boost gauge. Brown/White wire should have about 5 volts w/key to on. Black/White wire should have battery voltage (12 volts) w/key to on. Black is the ground wire and the Brown/Red wire should have 2.3 to 2.7 volts w/key to on with vacuum hose connected to Boost sensor disconnected.
