My Hatch warning light is on all the time when the car is running, all the other warning lights are off and the clock works. Is the switch for the hatch warning light on the left hatch strut, or on the hatch latches, and what can I do to fix this?

 

The switches are located on the latches,one each side.You will have to check both unless you guess right!

 

will cleaning help? spraying some electronic cleaning..

what is the switch on top of the drv side hatchback lifter arm? is that the sensor?
