hatch light

How can i get the hatch light to turn off my hatvh is shut but the light stays on

Make sure that both latches are catching. Either one being unlatched will cause the light to turn on. Make sure that the latches aren't loose; otherwise they won't catch.

The light on the left side with the switch? O.o

Mine only turns on when I use the switch as far as I can remember.
