hatch defroster ground

hatch defroster ground

is there more grounds besides the 2 connection on the window,
everytime i turn it on it feels like theres more draw than normal, i want to make sure the grounds are good for it
its a 91 n/a

Power comes in on the left side of the hatch glass (ref designator I-03.............travels thru the hatch grid and comes out on the right side of the hatch glass (ref designator I-04) and leaving I-04 it goes on to two ground points. One of which is on the right side of the hatch(ref designator I-05) and also splits off to ground point 7 located on the bulkhead that holds the liscense plate on???? See the online manual for the general location of this gnd.

See page I-1 of the free online wiring diagrams that can be downloaded from this site.

So the answer is ......yes, two gnd points and that's it.

thanks alot i did see the diagram but dont know exactly what the 7 is lol
i found out that the right side of the defroster was not connected because i removed the lift support to have rebuilt, is this why it draws more power, i still need to make sure about the #7 section
