I own a vert so I’m just throwing this out there, if you reupholster it you can add support to it with some kind of bondo or calk.

Are you talking about the creases? Is it sagging? What I did with mine was cut a section of thin plywood to match the underside of the middle upwards hump, using black screws from the topside it fixes the sag and doesn't look too bad.

What I was thinking would be even nicer is to do is just fiber glass the whole top, and paint it to match your interior, would hold up forever and look nice as well.

Fiber glass or if you want to go Carbon Fiber that would look good too.

Thanks,
Ryan

lol^ if you use the sheet rock screws you can always screw it in then cut off the ends, but id rather contact cement the bend =/

or better yet if you care about looks use a credit card or something similar and push the ripple out, other than the ripple it looks good.

that’s my input.

use a sheet of fiberglass mat on the Underside of the Cover.apply the resin and Voila. It will look original on the carpet side but have the strength to hold a case of beer!!

Fiberglass and use paint stir sticks on the bottom side, did it on mine, took a **** load of resin, but it's sturdy as hell now, put a turbo on top of it and it didn't budge.

Cool. I have one of these still and I've been wondering how to fix it up. I was thinking of black plastic 'boards' screwed in on the top and bottom, but these ideas are better
