i was wondering if anyone has heard of Hurley Rotary before

i've heard of them before... there are quite a few people who use their seals... hell, if you look in this month's issue of turbo magazine where they break down a rotary engine (i was surprised and shocked, almost bought the damn issue!) they go through a bunch of different types of seals... hurley seals are one of the ones they go over.

it's a pretty big name, you shouldn't be worried... it's good stuff.

 

There's a big thread on Hurley seals in the Rotary tech forum. Some people claim its good, some claim its crap.
