has anyone ever tried putting a flowmaster muffler on an rx7? what does it sound like? i was wondering because im going to get a new exhaust system, and i dont want the car to sound like a freakin bumblebee help me out...

 

you will get alot of opinions on this some say they like the sound and others will say its horrible sounding theres a thread somewhere in the forum i remember reading about flowmasters on rx7's try a search hope it will help you out further

 

My friend has one on his TII that the previous owner put on. It sounds very tingy, I'm not a fan.

 

i had a 1986 non turbo car with racing beat header/presilencer and single exhaust run into a flowmaster 40 series. it sounded pretty good. to loud for my taste these days but not bad sounding. you are never gonna get a throaty sound out of a rotary anyways--jeremie

 

i fits turbo dont do it. it actually hinders boost. as in stops the boost build up. talkto bond about this, he had one on his turbo 1st gen. hated it, sounded weird too.
