Probably the universal ones. Seems like the OEM accessories brochure did have a ski rack, luggage rack for the convertible trunk, but I'm not sure about bikes.

yeah get a universal one.

or if you want to go all out, get a trailer hitch and then get a bike rack that attaches to the hitch

I use a Yakima. Sailboard, kayaks etc. They have mountings for bikes, skis etc. http://store.yahoo.com/skishop/thesyakcarra.html

Yes,. Mazda did make a bike rack for a second gen. I believe it mounted on the back window (?), but I do recall seeing it.
As for myself. I have a both a hitch and a bike rack. I bought on eBay a few years ago (hitch & bike rack), from this guy in Canada (got super lucky as it was exactly what I was looking for).

The hitch is made by drawtite (drawtite.com) and is practically hidden from sight. The ball (Drawbar) is Removable, and comes with a plastic cover for the hitch. It looks good. To attach my bike rack, I simply remove the plastic cover, or ball if it is on (which is never...), and slide in the bike rack.

I have never seen another like it.

Thanks for all the helpful reccomendations!

I'm looking for an excuse to buy another FC and I think an off-road FC project would suit my mountain biking habit well.

I still need to get one for my FC. I have just been taking the wheel off and stuffing the bike into the back.
