has anyone ever had the winking headlight sindrom

every once an a while my right headlight goes insane and goes up and down up and down, for like 3 min than stops. has anyone else seen this???

it only does it when it is cold I thought it was a bab conection or relay.

No, it can't be an open circuit.&nbsp If it was an open circuit, it wouldn't do anything at all.&nbsp The headlight retractor motor works by +12VDC to go up and -ground to go down.&nbsp If you've ever tried to raise the headlights manually (**** underneath) without killing the headlight motor power (via fuse), the bitch slams shut on you; the system is still seeing -ground.&nbsp So to trigger the headlights to close, you need a -ground signal somewhere, which implies it's a short to -ground.
