has any1 had these problems?

so i just bought an 87 GXL and i took it into a shop and the front left part of the car was starting to rust underneath and the floorboards wer starting to rot, im getting them fixed but im wondering if any1 else has had these problems and how it turned out, the car only has 102k miles on it

just wondering to kno if id b worht fixing and to let me get sum sleep at night

I had an 86' like that. I parted it and scrapped it. I didn't feel like having it fixed.

Rust in the floor = bad.
If it has a sunroof make sure the drains are drainging properly.
Also I don't know how much snow you get in PA but road salt = bad.
