The hardest simple thing!
DAMN! I just flushed/filled my radiator and thought i'd replace the hoses at the same time.
GODDAMNIT!! The LOWER hose was such a BITCH. I had to take off the fan and AIR PUMP (and if you know the air pump, you know those ****** 1/2 washers/spacers thingys
). after all that i could finally get that sumbitch off. Putting it on was just as hard.
So all in all, it took me 4 hours to do what should have been 1 or less hours...
But now I have nice fresh coolant so i can "c0oL mAD qw1K y0!"

I'm probably just misreading how you took the air pump off, but, you don't take the long bolt out that has that thick spacer. You just undo the three bolts on the bracket and the adjustmet bolt down below. Probably just misread you.
