hard startup on 91 convertible

hi, i just bought a 91 black fc convertible and I have to depress on the gas pedal all the way when the engine is cold to start it. And just recently, I had a hard time starting it when it was hot. Also, it idles rougly when its cold for the first few minutes. It is the original motor I believe with 153k miles. Thanks for your help

Recently picked up an 89 vert. It ran rough until I got a tuneup.

Note the tuneup should help with the flooding, but it wont' solve it 100%. No big woop you just press the pedal to engage the fuel cut - then crank.

On the tuneup I had new sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, regular engine oil, coolant, synth in the trans, synth in the rear diff, etc..

Anything else??

Injectors, plugs, plug wires, TPS is what I would be looking at in that order.
