i gotta a question for all yall rotary techy's
my 87 N/A won't start in the winter without a good strong boost from my dad's Windstar

Original battery? There you go Batteries don't start as well in the winter.

You might also check the voltage on the alternator.

I've always been told that rotaries are not cold weather cars. I found that out so I had to get a car for the cold winter months.
