Hard to Start Car
My 88 vert is hard to start in the summer moring, and even harder to start in the Cold, and when i got it to start it idles for awhile at 2500 RPM then it dies out. But then after the second start up it idles at 2500 rpm for awhile and when warmed it idles at 750 rpm. After the car is fully warmed I shut it down for 1hr. then come back and start the engine and it fires right up. After I park the car overnight come back in the morining to start the car it take awhile to start the car up. This happens everyday when the engine is cold. The only mods is a CB. Anyone knows wats wrong with my car?

A tuneup & fuel injector cleaning will help.
Basically the fuel injectors leak as they get 85K + miles on them. The fuel line is pressurized after you turn off the car and that means overnight too much gas leaks into the engine. The 89+ has a built in fuel cut to get around this, but the 88 you need to get your fuel injectors cleaned & possibly blueprinted. If it refuses to start pull the EGI fuse, crank, put the fuse back in, crank, varoom.
