hard sound coming from behind, differential??

hard sound coming from behind, differential??

hi, before i stored my car for a few upgrades i noticed that everytime i change gear or depress the clutch pedal i heard a hard sound coming from behind, im positive is coming from the differential, did my differential mounts broke??? my car is almost done but i wan't to fix this problem before the dyno session.

diff mounts. easy to check. get under the car and push up on the diff, if it moves, get new mounts. But from what it sounds like your hypothesis is correct sir.
