Handbrake problem after removal of Spin turn ****

Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before:

The threaded rod in the handbrake, that the handbrake button screws onto, has dropped about halfway down the handbrake lever shaft, and I can't get it back up.

This happened when I took my drift handbrake button (Spin turn ****) out to put the standard one back on.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get it back up? Or has something broken on the inside?

Thanks, Bry

It's happened to me before... damn did i get frustrated. Get some pliers and pull/wiggle that thing out. That's how I remember i did it.

Could you like show me some pix on how to install the Turn **** too? I had my friend do it but I took it off.
