hair line cracks question

hair line cracks question

what happened when the turbo have hairline cracks? does it still works? does is a major problem? thanks

on the exhaust housing. have one accross the divider, but theres no cracks on the outside of the housing. does that is a problem? thanks

if it has not cracked all the way through the flange it will work, but this needs to be checked occasionally. visually from the outside. cast iron can take alot of abuse but is prone to cracking if not cooled slowly. always cool down the motor after running.
