i am pretty sure that i can use the carpet out of a gxl 88-91 for my 88gtu....as long as they are both hard tops. can someone 2nd that

yes they are the same for the 88 GTU and 88 GXL and 88 Turbo

The 89-91 however has a different Nap, and texture and slightly increased sound deading pads. It will fit, it just won't match the rear or doors.

There are some other minor differences between the 89-91 and the 88 as well, but it is related to the seat belt mounts
