GURUS plz help: Speedo cable question
well my friend's GTUs has los the speedo cable.......it somehow came loose and dragged for a while.....I believe the teeth on it are now gone. My question is: can I USE AN REGULAR N/A SPEEDO CABLE on HER GTUs TRANNY?

speedo cables are the same regardless of FC model... the only thing that is different is the gear on the tranny... something that you don't replace when changing the cable.

the cable for manual trans is a couple inches shorter than the one for auto.
it still fits good enough and works the same.
not saying IceMark is wrong or anything, just adding that tid bit of info from my experience replacing one.

I should have clarifed and said the speedo cable from all manual tranny, non turbos is the same, and has nothing to do with gearing or set up.
