Does any one have any idea what this part is ? it is on the left side on the throttle body under the TPS sensor..

J-spec throttlebody delay valve. It delays how quickly the secondary throttle plates open when you mash the throttle. It doesn't connect to anything; it'll just have a little filter on the end.

US-spec cars have a similar double throttle system.

 

Is that really needed or can I take it off ?

Search "Throttle Body Mod" - there is much debate over its effectiveness and its various implementations. However I think most would agree that removing just the secondary throttle plates is more beneficial than detrimental.

That being said, removing just the delay valve really isn't going to buy you much. Why do you want to remove it?

 

Wanna try putting a tps sensor on that location. The stock tps sucks ***** . We shall see how it goes .
