rrrrrrrright....
well a N/A will more than likely be more reliable than any TII and more fuel efficient, the TII will have better handling, and obviously the TII will be more powerfull....

der....

Wrong... any t2 in stock form will not handle as well. Mainly because it is heavier. They also have rpm speed sensitive power steering vs vehicle spees sensitive of the GTUs. I have personally driven 2 GTUs's (one is still for sale) and I can tell you they are EFFORTLESS to drive hard. IF it gives you any idea, I build rex's everyday, and I traded my lightly modded t2 for the GTUs. THey sound sweeter in the high revs even though theyre not quite as powerful. Theyre more reliable and you can get 25mpg out of one vs. 18 for a turbo II.

Errr... I was under the impression that the GTUs had the same power steering rack/pump that the TII had. At least, the S5 TII. Am I missing something?

tII are good, there way worth the time and effort just because there turbos, theres not alot of imports that can take a tII that has low miles with 2 1/2" full exhaust, intake and a fuel pump. it realy depends on what you are using it for, if autoX then im shure a gtu would be fine and would also make a good daily driven car but in my mind tII's are some of the best.

Yeah real dick. I hope this guy has enough BALLZ to introduce himself to me. He's probably a wussy and has to hide behind screen names to express his weak views on senseless stupid ****. I doubt he even owns an FC. And to the rest. He's not here to get info. He's here to be a dick.

Sorry Seth, didn't mean to offend. I wasn't serious at all of course. Rishie is pretty upset at this guy though, so I'm a little angry too.

I have a 87 N/A ... I didnt even bother to read this thread... I am just answering this based on the original question;

I own a N/A and T II, and I know a GTU's is rare... but its NOT a TII, don't fool yourself i own a 10AE, its rare, not as rare as the 90 ...S ... But uch faster and MUCH more fun.

Buy the GTU's if you need a daily driver .. otherwise, get the TII ... you will love it so much more. I hit stock boost today on the way back from the exhaust shop.. I hit 75-115 in amatter of seconds.. and my TII is not even close to tuned. It will never be as fast as my bike (I **** you not, I will race Soul, or the fastest 3'rd Gen there is) But it smoked any 4 wheel car in most of nrthern CA I ill bet on that. You can't beat that kind of fun ... as long as you are safe with it.

A gtus is by no means as fast in most conditions as a t2. However, the t2 doesnt drive as well as the GTUs. This from some one who has driven 2 GTUs's in good condition recently, and several t2's before and after. IF you put an 87-88 t2, and an 89-90 GTUs beside each other, equal miles, equal price, appearance, interior, etc., Ill choose the GTUs all day long.

A) because turbo II's are everywhere. b) because turbo II's are a bit heavier feeling and not as responsive/swift as the S. ON open road the t2 will spank the S, but on a backroad theyll be neck in neck depending on drivers. You've just gotta drive one and feel it to know what Im talking about, its quite a bit different than any other model of rx-7 including a regular old s5 NA. IT is so effortless to drive, so forgiving, so neutral, and gives so much feedback.

What the hell? Where do you get off making some dumbass forum name like that? Don't be a Rishie? Whats wrong with Rishie. I like all his cars. I see them almost everyday. If you really liked RX7s, especially FCs, you wouldn't make some retarded fucked up forum name like that. Rishie's a cool guy. Don't be a **** up. You're asking for the West Forum to flame on you.

I dont know rishie but I know of him, ard t2. Im pretty sure he sells wheels and parts at great prices to forum members, has a loyal following, and for whatever reason this other guy is attacking him, and now his friends and customers are defending him. This kind of thing happens to anybody who sells frequently, though I have no idea of the details. ****, everytime someone attacks me or my business practices, tons of people run up and get in line behind me, this is the mark of a good seller and a bad buyer.

GTUs is the nicest rx7 made no doubt it is the true sportscar of all the models a turboII is the wisest choice if your wanting to go fast I have a GTU and it handles great but i would have rather got a turboII when i had the chance

Get a TII, people who are dicks should not own the sweetest RX's ever made.

Unless you can explain that handle you have, you might want to consider changing it, WORD!!!
