i say 16.7 since his 6 ports are wired open... thus no low end.
This makes no sense, you are never i the rpms where only 4-ports would be open anyways.

I had an adjustable 5th/6th port setup going and my times got faster the earlier I had them open. Just FYI.

15.4@91 is my guess.

On the track bottom end means dick... Wired aux ports shouldn't change much. If you're letting your revs get below 3500 you have no way of putting down a decent time.

Keep the revs up and slip the clutch a little to keep from breaking loose.

Good luck.

sheeeeeeit You've not been to California dragstrips on Wednesday nights in a while I see.. I'd bet closer to 9:30pm 500 ricers out showin' their 5 inch tips and 20.53 time slips..

I think you'll probably be in the 15.6s to 15.7@89-91ish mph. I'm hoping you realy run a 15.4 or so. Good luck. CJ

ok, F all this 15 second BS i just went out in a 2.5 RS w/ an STi version 5 motor, PE turbo and HKS front mount w/ Motec (didnt like this ECU) computer (dont know what fuel system). It didnt run when it came into the shop (literally, just motor swap no ECU tune at all). I'd say it runs a 12 flat...has a Kaaz tranny and diff, STi suspension, serious stuff. power like a hyundai till 4 grand then it just builds till 8, this thing is faaaaaaaast (4.44 gears hehe). I so want my GVR4 on the road again (it ran today, few more days of tuning and I'm set). I sooooooo want my TII swap (kevin landers just finished my motor). I'm sooooooooooo bittin by the boost-bug k, nuff venting...wondering wha kev's running out in cali

Just out of curiosity, what color is your GTUs?? You didnt happend to buy it from the Roseville automall did you?

Have fun out at sac raceway tonight. Any time i forget what day it is (wed), all i need to do is be on sunrise in the evening and the cars with white numbers on the windshields remind me!

Yo,

Just got back! Was there from 4pm to 10pm. 6 hours! I got 12 runs for $15. Not a bad deal, eh?

First da pics:

Note which lane I'm in...*wink*

Don't mind that dial in! Note the Neon RS4 inna background.

Notice the Viper GTS ACR near me.

Okay, I'll break this down into 4 columns. Reaction time, 60' time, 1/4 time and MPH.

Here goes:

Reaction Time:

.549
.644
.606
.665
.580
.644
.543
.595
.559
.642
.702
.603

60' Time:

2.492
2.505
2.374
2.391
2.463
2.449
2.312
2.300
2.323
2.321
2.448
2.300

1/4 Time:

16.214
16.260
16.037
15.899
16.094
15.974
15.782
15.882
15.835
15.822
15.869
15.844

MPH:

88.376
88.519
88.454
89.070
88.942
89.552
89.211
88.348
89.250
89.043
89.107
89.003

Consistent, ain't I? *grin*

Anyone got a graphing program, I would love to see these numbers in a line graph form.

My best run which I broke out on:

Reaction: .543
60' Time: 2.312
1/4 Time: 15.782
MPH: 89.211

I got 4 brackets deep until I broke out with the above run. But you've never seen anyone so happy to break out. *grin*

Oh, and see that Viper ACR in the pic? Guess who got to run him? *wink*

Me

.559
2.323
15.835
89.250

Him

1.184 (I killed him off the line)
2.196 (What's that noise?)
12.480 (ZzzzooOOOM!)
117.566 (Did you see that?!)

And da winner is:

Cheers! With his guess of 15.7.

Hope you guys can make sense of all these numbers...

Yo,

I only beat you on my best run:

10.222

I think that's "I3" on the timeslip.

Anyways, I gotta crash! I expect graphs tomorrow! *grin*

always makes me smile to see your car

maybe one of these days i'll drag my pathetic car to the strip and humiliate myself with 19second runs since i'd have no idea what i'm doing

Nice runs, and nice story. I thought the 4.33 rear-end would help out alittle more. Oh well at least you had fun.

You should be able to muster better 60 ft.s than that, thats really why you didn't dip deeper into the 15's which I know the car is capable of. Did you get a bunch of tire spin in first gear? Launch at a lower RPM to avoid spin or really give the clutch a slip at higher RPM's (ouch). OR just stick w/ road racing In any event, nice pics, nice runs and as always nice car
