GTU Tranny and Rear End??

I was told that the GTU (87-88) and the GTUs (89-91) have the better tranny and rear end (turbo), the same beefy tranny and rear end that is in the turbo models? Is this true?

The GTUs came with a NA rear with a 4.30 ratio, Tranny is a NA 5 speed with a slightly different OD ration

GTU 4.10 clutch type LSD tranny same as any other NA
GTUs 4.30 visious LSD tranny is NA tranny with shorter 5th gear for acceleration
