GT-C / C-West front ends for FC!!!

Hey guys, I got some great news for everyone whos been dieing for a body kit. I have been talking to rotaryextreme and basically, he can make us front ends that were never offered before. He has molds of the Mazdaspeed GT-C front end, the C-West N1 front end, Knightsport, and even Abflug front ends...

The plan is, get 10+ dedicated people to put down a $250 deposit, for Chuck to take one of the front ends of our choice, mold it to a 2nd gen bumper, and then take a whole new mold of that. And make our 10+ bumpers for $250 more... $500 total for an amazing front end that was never offered before!!!

So cast your vote, only if you are serious and ready to do a $250 deposit, probably after christmas, so in 2 weeks or so? I will start with 1 vote for the Mazdaspeed GT-C front end... Similar styling to the RE Amemyia front end (Soul Assassin's) but intigrates 99 bumper lenses and has 1 cut out on the side vs. 2 smaller ones... But I'll go C-West if everyone else votes for that...

Go to www.rotaryextreme.com and click body kits for sale to see the different styles that he offers.

I think pictures with all this kits installed would help alot. Im very interested since im saving money for the BOMEX front, but if i like the deal and the finish product is good then i will definitely deposit 250.

Well the thing is, the bumpers are not made yet. He needs 10 interested people to do a mold, or else its not worth the money for him. But they will line up with any 2nd gen model/year. And line up like any other stock/aftermarket bumper will. If you go to www.rotaryextreme.com you will see pics of his bumper copys for the fd, all he is going to do is remold the rear of the bumper where it lines up to the car to line up with fc's!!! Stock headlights, fenders, all that will remain unmodified. Post any other questions please.

I am pretty damn interested. How long until we might need the other $250. I actually have that it all now, just depends what goes on with the performance stuff. Well he will keep making it if I can't do it right away right?

Yes, he will continue to sell the bumpers after this initial buy in. But no mold will be made unless 10 people are accounted for. The mold will line up like our stock bumper, and i think the bottom will wrap around the fender like most aftermarket styles and screw in from the back of the wheel well. In front of the front tires.

Ohh yeah, it will be about a month for the mold to be made and the 10 bumpers to be made. So 1 month, maybe less , we pay for the other $250 and get our front ends.

It will line up exactly like the stock bumper, which means, no need to touch the stock headlights/headlight covers. I know the 3rd gen upper bumper line has notches for the headlights, but that is why he is molding a new rear to the front ends, so they line up like any other bumper would.

No, no headlight kit supplied, or required. Stock headlights will work with this just fine unmodified, if you were wondering if we could do a aftermarket style headlight (fixed), thats a different subject, and would require more money/time, and probably not everyone would be ok with that...

My friend went to order that front end from www.rxecret7.com I think for like 6 or $700. Then they told him he had to pay an extra $600 in shipping so it ended that real quick. Anyone know of any other place to get it here in the US?

Sorry Neo_Omega, that isnt the front end we would be getting... I am talking about the knightsport front end for the FD. He does not have that mold, but that is why i think the cwest would look excellant, very similar to the knightsport for the fc...

Go to www.rotaryextreme.com for pics of the FD front

Some please do some photoshop action!

If you and your friend get in on this, then we are up to 6 people, only 4 more!!! The CWest looks very similar to the knighsports front end, i think it looks better! I was always a little hesitant on the stock bumper lenses with that little fog light? Now you can use 99 spec lights!

Well Im really tempted to get in one this one but I think its going to be pretty lame if me and Initial FC have the same front ends since we live so close . Hmmmm well I probally will get in on it but I need to think about it at the moment, I will need a bigger opening in the front for my BIG front mount. I would have to say I would go with the Mazdaspeed GT-C, I'll let you guys know then.
