GSL-SE Short Block into S4 TII?

I blew the engine in my 87 TII a few months ago and was wondering how much work would be involved putting my gsl-se 13b short block in. I know the engine mounts are differnt and would be the hardest task. And i think the intake bolts are a little differnt. Has anyone done this? Is it fairly easy?

The gsl-se short block i have is a new rebuild with new housings and side plates. It should last a long time so thats why i wanted to use it.

dont think it would work, the FCs have a differeny center housing with provisions for the mounts i beleive, while an SE motor won't have anything there, as it was meant to be mounted from the front.

you can go FC to FB, but no the other way.

you can defintly do it.. youll just have to fab some stuff up. the GSL SEs have lower compression (heavier) rotors with 3mm apex seals already

overall though I think it would be more trouble then its worth.

yup. there is no way to mount the motor mounts of a FC to the GSLSE block. there are the holes for the drivers side mounts in the center iron, but the passenger side on that connects into the oil pan is a no go.
