gsl-se 13b in fc?

Okay so bad things happened yesterday and I fucked up my buddies gsl-se. He just got the motor rebuilt and it is fine. I have an s5 with no engine and was wondering what it would take to get the gsl-se 13b in there. It's carbed so I guess that will make it a little easier.

nope because it have different mounting position. the FC engine mounts on the middle of the engine and the gslse 13b mount from the front cover

no i think he wants to give him his rolling chassis.

as eddie said it won't work because the FB mounts at the front of the engine where the FC mounts to the middle irons, you can do a 13B into a FB but you can't do it the other way around. just find a good FB roller and give it to him.

wow... ummm, that sucks.. concidering a 85' gsl-se is a rare rx7...there would be so much involved in putting that motor into an s5... best bet is to just buy him a fb shell

I told him i would just get the s5 engine rebuilt and give him my second gen....but for some crazy reason he wants his motor in it......for now i think im just going to dorp his engine in my rolling fb and let him have that till i get the fc back to normal

13b-rew... not 13btt
and to my knowledge, they only made the gsl-se in 1985... so if it is an 84, then it might not be that hard to replace

as stated earlier the first gen motors 12a or 13b mounted from the front cover.
the 2nd gens mounted from the middle iron.
so you can easily put a 1st gen front cover any motor and it will bolt into the 1st gen, it doesnt work the other way around.

how much you want for the dellorto?
