GRRRRRRRRRRRRR ... car has no power at ~5100???

**Before I start .. yes I searched and read similar threads .. but they all point to the FCD and I dont think thats it.**

Heres the list of mods
1. Street Ported S4 Turbo 2 Engine
2. Racing Beat Turboback
3. Greddy E-01 Boost Controller
4. FCD
5. Warlboro 255lh

Here's the problem:
It started when I had the boost controller set at 9psi and did a wot run through fourth. As soon as I hit fourth the car did the "hit a brick wall thing" ... it didnt feel like that but the engine didn't increase rpms, the speed didnt increase .. nothing. But the speed held constant.

I stopped and went through the gears again .... in first no problem ... in second around 5200 and in third around 5100-5200.

I figured maybe the FCD took a poop, so I set the cars boost level to 5.5 psi. Worked fine for a minute. Then the problem came back.

Some comments:
- I don't believe its a bad FCD .. because its doing it at stock boost levels as well.
- I think it could be the injectors?
- There is no smoke, be it black, white, or blue ... there is none.
- I don't believe the engine to be "blown" or have a shot seal (see one comment up) .... as it still ran at 9psi just fine at various time after the problem still happened
- I havent checked the air filter .. but I would think if it were the air filter then it would be a progressive problem .. not just happen "all at once"
- Possibly a blown turbo? But once again there is no smoke

So with that being said ... what do you guys think ?

I didn't see any fuel mods in you post.

I sure hope you're not running lean.

There is not much head room in the stock fuel system for additional boost.
A fresh strong rewired fuel pump & some way to tune in more fuel above 6PSI is needed to keep you from detonating you motor.

sureshot .. from what i understand I am capable of running 9psi without anyproblem ... i understood that the fuel system was running at about 65% duty cycle .. and each pound of boost raised it up 10% ... so the 6-9 spread is 3 pounds which would put the duty cycle at around 95%?

im not quite sure what your actual problem is but
you are in the danger zone !

with a street port your flowing more air and need even more fuel at the same psi level.

also i hope u realize that the stock ecu's max duty cycle is limited to around 65% and this is why the injectors are maxed out so fast....

with a standalone people can squeeze higher duty cycles out of the injectors, but running over around 85% duty cycle can damage injectors.

im going to pull the injectors and tap them VERY GENTLY and see if maybe they had sediment or something in them.
