A long extension works wonders. I've had those off a few times in the past couple weeks, I've got it down pretty easy.

You not getting off bolts has to do with a designer? I figured that was an Engineer's job.

By the way, WD-40, it works wonders.

No kidding. Kid is complaining about two bolts. Try pulling a motor in a RX-7 that has the shock towers moved 2 inches inwards. That's alot of fun!

You think an FC is bad? It's a joy, probably the easiest car I have ever worked on.

You want torture? Change the fuel filter in an FD. Hell, change spark plugs on an FD.

Or try diagnosing a vac leak on a stock FD. Or replacing the 100 feet of vac lines.

The 300zx is probably worse.

But I don't see how these bolts are supposed to be hard to get?
Just use any lube/penetrant and if they end up breaking then you have a real problem. In the mean time grab a beer.

urg! compared to the 300zx..the FC is the easiest car to work on. More specifically the Z32 is a bitch.

To OP like what everyone else says, soak in PB blaster or liquid wrench, have a beer, then continue to work. Or if you had a torch on hand..you can heat up the bolt a bit. That usually helps me loosen it up or break it if rust collects inside when i need to. but im sure you don't need to go as far as using a torch.

Werd. I can have the spark plugs in and out in less than 4 minutes on mine (I still have a/c though). It took me 15 minutes to get the spark plugs out of my friend's S5 TII, those power steering hoses are a BITCH!!!
