grounding ring
hi, for some reason my car wont start, i tried jumping the spart the the strut tower bolt and could not get spark. I was working under my UIM and found a black ring there, i thought it was something i dropped in there, i was just looking on here for help and found it may be a ground ring, my question is where can i get another one and where does it go, does anyone have a diagram or anything i can look at? thanks

You have a ECU. The ECU has a ground point. That ground point is on top of the rear rotor housing. It's what is called a RING terminal. The ring terminal is bolted to the housing approx one to two inches to the left of BL 0.
This ground location is shown in all the fsm's. The ground wires on the ring terminal are Black. I don't know what else there is to say about the grounds for the internals of the ECU.
