Grounding kits = more power?
Jon88se- it's a common misconception, I'm not flaming ya...a ground is a ground is a ground...there is no "leftover"- electricity will ALWAYS take the path of least resistance, all of it- it's like water...that's why people fry the small tranny to firewall ground when the main starter ground is off or loose- the closest, least resistive place for the starter to get it's current (and, like all motors, generators, coils, etc it acts as a direct short to ground the instant power hits it/ key is turned) is that wire...if that wire wasn't hooked up, it would probably fry the ground under the trailing coil pack...I only see two problems with the grounds on our cars- the way it's grounded (through the threads of the hardware), and the rear rotor housing ground (current actually has to flow through the housings to get to it). That's why I recommended adding a direct ground from the firewall to that spot...cheers
