Question Ground issues.... Getting tired of this

So ive Checked everything thing i can possibly think of including all the ground spots listed all over the forum.. , Question one... is the Brown wire with the White Stripe not a ground on the Boost/vac/ sensor?

When i Test it i get a Great deal of Resistance, When i apply ground to it i get a Dead everything....

2nd question.. Ive ran a Decent amount of Grounds Around the Engine, From what i can tell with the car off im getting no Resistance from point A. the battery to B. the Boost sensor's newly installed Ground. However with the Engine Going.. im showing a good deal of Resistance and every time the engine shutters it jumps even more.

And 3 With all this Madness going on.. Did i miss something? still got a 3k Lean out( not to bad but its still there) a ruff idle, and somehow Resistance in all of my grounds... ( grounds are Ran to the Battery )

any help would be great.. seems like every time i come here its always something ground related.. just out of options this time

Brown/White is the v-ref which is reference voltage and connects to 5 different sensors and the voltage with key to on should be about 4.5 volts. Definitely not a wire to ground out.

Should be!

It's best to make sure the grounds that are present are in good condition as opposed to placing another ground here and another ground there. If your convinced that your grounding system is weak then check and clean up the original grounds and I'll provide a link which is thorough. Also, if you're going to add grounds it is best to do it at the ECU.

The plug which plugs into the boost sensor has 4 wires in total. On the early 86's the ground was a different color then Black but was later changed to Black.

Black=ground
BR/W= v-ref 4.5 to 5.5 volts w/ key to on
B/W= battery voltage w/ key to on
BR/R= pin 2B of ECU
