Ground Control coilover???

Anyone else have this set up. I intalled them in my 90 TII and with them all the way down and the proper free lenght spring in the car still isnt very low. I expected more. I dont want to sound ricey, but I want my wheels almost inside the fenders, drift style. Kinda bumed gotta grind strut perches to lower the sleeve.
Let me know what all of you think about this set up.

Just curious, have you thought about the rear camber?

Order shorter springs.

I think my fronts are 7" and the rears are 8". My front ring is spun down all the way and I have about 1/4"-1/2" gap from top of tire to fender lip. The rear rings are spun about 2/3 of the way down to match the front.
Take into consideration spring rate and shock firmness, you just have to play around till you get it where YOU like it. If you opt for a bit shorter spring you might increase the spring rate some.

Talk w/ "Tony" at GC - he knows the FC's...

I got the groudcontrol coil overs and camber plates and I can tuck the wheels up under the fender easy.

I need a rear camber adjuster to crank out some the camber from droping the car down.

oh yeah I run
225/50/16 front
245/45/16 rear

I havent had my koni s machined so I dont have the camber plates in. Also my springs are 450inlbs 6" in front, 350 8" in back. the back inst that low but I still have room in the sleeve. The fronts are all the way down. I think the camber plates will help lower the front, what maybe 1- 1 1/2". The stock piece looks kinda tall.
Im gonna grind the strut perches off so the collars will sit on the welds. Ive seen this done in a race video. Seems strong enough. Maybe Ill have new collars tig welded on later.
