Hey all!

Sorry to hear about the turbo. If you want to do a GT35-40 hybrid I am game! We can do it just give me time with the 3540 CHRA and the factory end housings .

It doesn't look too bad. I suspect the turbine seal went bad in the turbocharger. I would have to look at it to make sure though. It isn't that big of a deal to replace and if the turbine wheel is shot, we can get another one for you. If the rotating assembly still is tight and has minimal play, the turbocharger just needs to be refreshed. You've been a great customer and I will treat you right if you decide to fix it.

Bryan,

I called you and emailed you, and you didnt seem interested in seeing the turbo. You said it was trashed, so I sold it for parts. Had I known earlier that you had this interest in rebuilding the turbo (or upgrading), I would have sent it to you directly, because my new setup cost me $1800 dollars. Especially now that you do a GT35/40 hybrid! Oh well, seems like a miscommunication error on both ends.

For those that are interested, I have purchased a T4/T61 Blowzilla, an HKS manifold, and an HKS 40 MM wastegate.

How much more abuse do you think a 3540 CHRA could take over the stock one? A GT35/40 hybrid sounds like it could be pretty bad ***
