Talking Greetings from Down Under!

Hey hey guyz!

Greeting from Australia! I currently drive a 1984 Nissan 300ZX, which I love quite a lot, however, I'm feeling the need for some on track action, or at least something a little bit more manueverable around circuts or streets. My current beast which is more of a cruiser rather than a tight circut racer.

I'm particularly interested in the RX7 series 4/5, which my mechanic mates have said are the ones to get, I'm new to rotaries, although I've done a lot of work on my ZX, a V6 is a little different I'm guessing .

When I go car hunting, what sort of things should I be looking out for? common faults or problem areas? or things that are good to have on the car when I buy? Anything related to the turbo's that come with?

Thanks, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything in particular for purchasing.

Thanks.

Hey aussie, more rx from down under, yours might have done 1/3 the miles but ours are still 1/3 of your price. Seen a import mag of yours " Fast fours" and the there was a S4 in there that a guy paid $14k for it, you still have high import tarrifs aye! Buy an FC, you'll love it!

Check the FAQ. There are several how to buy guides that cover almost all of it.
