Possibly very minor things are different, but I doubt it. The real reason it is listed as being for a S5 only is because thats all they test-fitted it on. I have it on my S4.

I think It has to do with the Power Steering Bracket. Atleast, that Is what I heard before...$960 Is way to much. I got mine for $820 about a month ago.

Greddy fmic will fit on s4 body style with really no problem except the power steering. You would have to either eliminate the power steering and get a manual rack which is what i did or you can customize the first elbow piece that goes through the power steering area to fit properly by welding.

Other than that, greddy fmic is NOT A BOLT ON!! Whether your car is an s5 or s4 body style, the installation process will take SOME time. Requires a bit a cutting and definitely some minor trimming of front s4 bumper if you want a nice clean fit.

Is it worth it? Yes very worth it and a good safety for your motor plus future upgrades. Looks even better when you still have the stock n/a hood and nobody expects you to be turbo until they see the MEAN GRILL!!

where did you guys get yours?[silverrotor and ryde or die]? the only reason i checked rotary xecret is they have the lowest price on the N1 cat-back i want.

either way i want a nice full FMIC[does this one "fill" the stock S4 front end??] and a easy to swallow price.

please post pictures if you have them.

SleeperRX, how much work are we talking here bud? i imagine remove the front tow hook and i was gonna chop out all the "teeth" looking parts of the front grille[for mesh but i think a FMIC looks soooo much sweeter than the mesh], but is it required to chop the body to fit the pipes up front??

Jester1341, well not really hard work but mainly more of a time consuming job as far as installation. There is some cutting through the firewall, obviously, since the intercooler piping has to pass somewhere. You would also have to remove bumper reinforcement completely, the brackets that hold the reinforcer, and some minor trimming would have to be done so intercooler sits upstraight and not angled.

For the bumper, yes, I also removed/cut the "grill teeth looking mesh" so the intercooler is more visible and so it would give the car a more aggressive look. Also by cutting the front bumper grill, the intercooler sits better w/o rubbing against anything. Don't have pics right now, but will try to post some.

I don't have any pics with the bumper cover on, but I do have these crappy pics...

This is on a S4. p/s removed, obviously. It got some minor damage in shipping, but it's not a big deal. It won't effect performance and it will be covered my the bumper cover.
