greddy a/f guage 02 sensor
So I have this Greddy Air/fuel guage that comes with an o2 sensor. I called and talked to greddy today and they say that it is NOT to be used to replace the stock o2 sensor. This caught me off guard. They say that it also has a wire used to connect to your ecu, but that it is used primarilly in Japan on j-spec cars that we're not seeing here in the U.S. Now, that I did not know. I thought that I could use that wire to connect where my regular o2 sensor went. But if I can't do that, then I have to plumb in ANOTHER 02 sensor port and actually have TWO 02 sensors? Has anyone run with their greddy 02 sensor in place of their normal o2 sensor? Let me know guys. Thanks!

The GReddy O2 sensor is a 0-5V NTK sensor.  It's similar to the one used on the lean-burn Honda E-VTEC engines.  You cannot directly connect it to your ECU, as this will burn out the ECU.
You can do a simple experiment by connecting a DMM to the GReddy output to see if the signal stays between 0 and 1VDC.  If it does, you can connect it to the ECU.  If not, you need to run both your stock O2 and the GReddy O2 (for the gauge).
