Yeah like I said SSchrome makes these kits for 199. I will stamp JDM on the side and say its from RE and retire.

you do that, its no where near the quality of the gp sports exhausts, but if you feel like the FC community isnt already degraded enough as it is, then you go ahead and rip people off. good idea!

i dont see anything wrong with the corksport either,
how much was the gp sport cb?, they have a bunch of combinations like mild steel piping ss muffler, full ss system, ss piping titanium muffler and full titanium system, as long as the buyer dosent regret buying an item whether knockoff or jdm, from his perspective if he's happy thats good enough

lol @ people buying parts that impress other people. I like my corksport exhaust. I don't care if other people think its ricey, or whatnot. Aslong as the owner is happy it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

well saying "no no you all don't understand this is JDM quality bla bla bla bla" and it sounds like a cork sport or N1 canisters what did the buyer pay for? If the sound is the same as a 300 dollar cheap shitty catback why even bother buying the "JDM quality" stuff?

what was up with the smoke? is that from using an open-vented blow off valve with the stock ecu?

proabably, your right on them money with that one. i've noticed that when it does that on decel with a straight through exhaust thats when the flames start to come out if the motor and piping is hot enough. my turbo is also going out on me so thats another factor.

oh and for the people bringing up the cost factor on which one is better because they look the same... i paid the "shitty catback" price for a "mad tyte JDM catback" exhaust, so...good comparison there!

for all of those who like it and comlimented me, THANKS!

for all of those who talked ****, THANKS!

and the world goes on.

u people and your nice exhausts... i dropped mine completely out after the bonez dp, mp, and race pipe. Made some massive power... but daiom! I get the *** massage of a lifetime. Turbo makes really interesting spooling noise too, kinda like being next to an accelerating semi. That setup is too loud also.

soooo...why spend 300 bucks on pre-fabbed pipe? i can go down the street and have this muffler shop run 2.5" catback SS pipe mandrel bent and make it with me watching and making sure i like what thyre doing, is this not reccomended? i had the same shop do it for my first 2 cars and nothing ever went wrong and i could tell them to bend it where and how much and everything, but should i consider doing the same for my 7 or go with a pre-fabbed unit? i just dont want to spend 300 bucks on somthing thats going to get me the same power as a custom setup

I am not trying to bust your ***** but just be aware that their is a ton of knockoff stuff on the market right now. My friend came home from Thailand 6 months ago with a "greddy" dual catback exhaust for his FC but it looked something like the RB dual setup and it had a little plate welded on it that said greddy. Its a total knockoff so just becareful. Greddy doesn't even make anything that remotely looks like what he bought and has on his car.

hmm, this is pretty funny i need to post a vid of my n1 single deltron, it has a similar tone to your gp, its a few octves deeper in the mid range, idle sounds almost the same, at high rpms it changes tone, almost like a sport bike, a bit deeper though, i have a mind train header and a test pipe to it.

everyone says an exhaust is an exhaust, why do you think they cost more, because they have R&D put into the design, not because they are JDM. the corksport is a good design, but its just a copy of something that had R&D put into it, which makes it just as good for less money. i personally went with the n1 because of design, apex's reputation, and having an exhaust i know R&D went into. i can say from personal experience that unless you have a custom exhaust made to copy something designed right, you wont make as much power as you could with something like the quality of the GP, greddy, HKS, Apex stuff.

go for it, i'd like to compare them as well! but if you have headers, im guessing you have a n/a, and you cant compare and n/a to a TII... again the only reason I got this exhaust is because its rare, and not a whole lot of people have it. as for the commment that it might be fake, this is false, because it was special ordered from HKS themselves. have any other ideas to degrade the fact that I have this exhaust? im all ears!
