it'll look good until you install it into the car.... unless you have a way of covering up the exposed shifter assembly now that you cut that off but it looks like you have some fabrication skills, so im sure that already on the drawing board.... congrats on being creative!

personally, i think you should have made the glove box flush... or are you gonna reinstall the door?

of course it is. you can import cars from japan now. up here in canada we can only import cars that are 15 years old and more (www.importconcern.ca is an exemple) so i'm sure you guys can have those right hand drive cars too =)

a guy i know has an rhd FD in Florida

Actually, you cant in the U.S. There are people have that have but its not really clearly legal like in canada. its like a bunch of fancy paperwork and lots of money and time and its usually pretty top secret.

Yea... we can import any car... it just depends on how much money you have to legalize it... They will let you import it, but you wont be able to drive/register it until it is legalized which is gay...

Yeah, the thing about motorex is true. He had only legalized the R33, but he was selling R32's and 34's as well. Its technically possible, but not worth it unless you have a ton of money.

OH, was it r32's? Anyway, he had something like a $1,000,000 bail for stuff much worse that illegal importation - money laundering, racketeering, etc.

Yay for home built dashboards, looks really good man, it'll be nice to see what it looks like in the car.
I couldn't stand that lip by the idiot cluster, and the block switches on the sides of the gauges. so I went full custom.
Here is mine, not finished yet.
