Talking got sponsors?

hey guys, just wanted to share that i got my 91 N/A sponsored by Sport Compact Pro. they've offered a contract for 55% off of upto $12,000 worth of parts. this will certainly take a great chunk outta my cost, and allow me to do more to the "stealth FC"! Peace!

good luck with that and tell us how it goes. They offered me it to but i was told i needed to pay $70 to get into the package and then it was the same deal up to 55% off worth up to $12,000. I was little iffy about them so i declined. Sure enough i have received a good 8-10 calls from them asking me if i changed my mind

thats what i was afraid of.
I didnt get why I would have to pay to get parts cheaper. Why not just incorporate that cost into the price of the partS?

There is a scam aspect to it, that makes it not worth while.

I remember reading about this for sure. The parts are very very expensive i believe, so your paying full cost i'm pretty sure.

Ya i emailed those guys too. They called me one day and I jumped so high and told all my neighboors . But they do want you to pay to get in. Same deal as you were offered with the 12k. Think of it like this. It's basically COSCO membership, but for car parts. And it's worse than cosco cause you have to go to atlest 3-4 shows if I'm not mistaken or they bust on your ***. Cosco doesn't care. Anyways, I said no also, but do what you think is better. You could potentially save a lot if you buy parts all the time.

dont worry deathstar i was jumping high to. With a msg left on my cell all they said was they wanted to sponsor me for 12,000. Then when i talked to them the up to 55% deal came in and the entry fee pissed me off.

I am located in markham/scarborough. Is it the performance improvements in scar? if so im pretty close

yeah I was approched by 2 guys about the same thing on day at a import meet here in MD. They were located out of Delaware and they wanted to do all these shows and all this crap and 50% up to 12k in one year. So I drove up to their shop and it was a joke. It was 4 guys over at a friends garage. They had no tuner shop, no dyno, no nothing. But they did have some hooked up cars. My guess is they sold alot of those bullshit sponserships. Its like a pyramid scam. Your money goes to those guys and hooking up their cars. They go to shows and try to draw sponsers to get discounted products to sell to you at full price and then take the 50% off. Problem is if a sponser were ever to give you anything more that a discount it sure will not be enuff to sell. Stay away from that stuff.
