Question Got A Question?

I have a 87 T11 and it doesn't run right, so I checked the resistance on the leading and trailing coils and leading coil was 0.6 ohm and both of the trailing coils were 0.9 ohms each. Could that be causing some of my problems? I have to slowly apply the accelerator to get it to rev smooth because if I floor it, it hesitates big time then it will start to rev after that. I have know idea what is causing that so could this be it? I also recently just replaced the solenoid resistor because it had a violent hesitation problem at 3600 RPM...not you regular 3800 **** either. It was like hitting a brick wall or something. The car also has a bucking problem during hot weather, any idea about that one?

Of course your coils could be bad. BUT...have you performed ALL basic maintence yet? Like replacing all filters, plugs, wires, etc, etc, etc?

Gotta agree with Ryde... Never underestimate what a jacked up fuel filter or dirty plugs can do to your car... Also, check your timing... My T2 was running like ****, turns out the timing was so far off it's hard to believe it was running at all.
