got a problem.. belts maybe?

ok, I just installed my new dual alternator pulley with two new belts and then put the a/c and p/s belts back on and tightened everything. It was a little hard to start the car. I'm not sure if it was the belts, a weak battery or something else, but it finally kicked over. When it was running one or more of the belts were really squeeling and I smelled some burning rubber. What did I do wrong? Belts too tight/too loose? Which belts? I think I tightened the two alternator belts as much as I could, I really pried the alternator up..

Squeeling=too loose. Retighten all the belts. If that don't work, then take off the new belt (#2) on the alternator pully. still no go..... replace the a/c and p/s belts aswell. All your pullys should be cleen . If that don't work then get a BIG GUN!
