Got my RX-7 Running

Well after sitting for aporx 5 months I finally crawled under her and get it running again. It was a very simple fix, my starter had got grounded to the block somehow so its all better now. Runs like a champ and pulls hard. I never drove the car much but I did modify it a lot while it sat so who knows if anything I did helped. I currently have a single exhaust 8'' fart cannon(sarcasm of course) without anything between it and the manifold and its LOUD. I was going to buy a header while it sat but Im glad I didnt for fear of the law. I have a video of it but dunno how to upload it. Upon startup it smoked really bad for about 45 seconds and idled at like 1700 but it stopped and dropped down to a good 800-900 rpm. The only thing is now when it first starts it dies, you gotta blip the throttle to keep it idling? Any suggestions? Besides that Im glad to have my baby back. It makes my 4runner BORING.

Edit; also I forgot when I did my new clutch my speedo cable fell a good part out of the housing for it and I tried to hook it back up and spun it and my girlfriend said the speedometer was moving a little. But when I towed it(im guessing thats when) it sheared the cable somehow? Autozone doesnt even carry a replacement one and a junkyard isnt an option? Any ideas? And any ideas on how it happened? Are these easy to replace or a PITA

Ya, bumps are also forbidden in this part of the forum. Grats on getting your car running btw. Mine was down for almost 2 years before I got it running.
