Got my Jspec TII engine and tranny yesterday!

Yesterday, I was so happy that I finally received my jspec 13BT engine and tranny. I was happy to see that 13BT, and finally I had the engine that I wanted since I got my 91 NA Coupe. I was so happy.......then I figured out I dont some stuff I need to complete my NA-TII conversion. I jus bought a stock intercooler, stock intake, stock MAS, Koyo Radiator, and NipponDenso Competition Fuelpump. I bought the performance fuel pump and Radiator cuzz I would be spendin almost the same amount on the stock parts. I still need the whole stock exhaust system, and I need the stock to pass emissions here in California. I also need to get the LSD rear end to run my TII Tranny. I dont want to use my NA tranny with upgrade clutch, cuzz I want the TII tranny and LSD. and I got the TII tranny already so it'd be a waste of money. Man, I still gotta pay the mechanic $500 for the swap. Man its gonna be like $4500 for everything plus labor. Man, I jus can't wait to drive my 7 again and especially wit the turbo i been dreamin about since i was 15. I am 19 btw. My car has been dead since April and I reminisce a lot about my 7 over this summer. I hope this is all worth it. But Im pretty sure it will be worth it.

good luck with everything man.

I really hope your engine has good compression numbers and is up to spec. unless you're planning on rebuilding it then it's not a huge deal either way.

going turbo from n/a is quite the project. who's doing your work? and 500 bucks is sure a hell of a del. i wish i had a good rotary mechanic around this area that would do all the work for me for 500. but then i'm a learn it myself type of guy.

good luck with everything bro.

Matt

Have fun with the swap. Turbo power is addictive. Make me an offer on the LSD rear end. I have a spare set and am in your area.

Kingof1337, I thought you could use the TII transmission and keep the rest of the drivetrain on the NA side from what Ive been reading here...?

Am I wrong?

No, you'll need the rear end, halfshafts, and driveshaft.

Do you have the whole rear end? The differential, halfshafts, and driveshaft? If so, willing to pay $500 shipped.

Not sure, I haven't lined it up to an NA tranny before. But its beefier and can handle the torque of a TII engine. The tranny case is also ribbed.
