Got my CST Zero 1 Full Titanium catback last night

I had ordered a Stillway Titainium catback but theirs turns out to be one piece from the cat. I looked at getting a JIC or RE Amemiya one but they want way too much. JIC is around $1200, RE is around $1700.

CST Zero 1 Full Titanium Muffler for FC3S arrives. I had orderd the CST ( Circuit Spec Tuned ) Titanium muffler system for the Infini IV about 3 weeks ago. The box it came in was huge but when I put the box on the scale it was 19 pounds. When I had talked with CST ( The Boyz ) about the weight they said the it would be around 9.4 pounds. I put it on the scale and it was 11.7 pounds. But the bathroom scale dont like to measure lightwieght stuff, so I might be a little lighter than 11.7 pounds Not as light as they said but its still very light compaired to other cat backs.

Stand on the scale, read your weight. Pick up the exhaust and read your weight. The difference should give you a more accurate weight.

Exactly, he claimed 1,200 was "too much" and went with this system. Well obviously we want to know the price difference. (I see he listed it now) I mean if one is 1,500 and the other is 1,450... buy what you like, but if one is 1,500 and the other is 300... hmmmmm

GIL..

should find out this Sat. It came with a silencer that fits in the tip.

Im also going to try to get a dyno base line for the car this weekend too.
not sure if their will be much of gain in power as the car already has old school HKS catback on it.

Im interested to really see how much the power differance and how loud it is with and with out the silencer.

I looked at this one to but the fart can style wont fly with me. I will just have to get RE-A.

Have you ever seen how they fit? I want to use 2 of them as dual cat backs.

I gotta call them on Sat, I will ask when I call.

when you say 3inch do you mean 76.2mm or 80mm ?

I find that in japan when you say 3inch to them sometimes they mix them.

like I orderd a 3inch strait pipe and it was 80mm
but a 3 down pipe from the same shop was 76.2

now you have to bolt it up and tell us what kind of performance gains you get out of it.

TR - a vid or sound clip would be nice too (inside and outside the car) ^_^
