Got My 7 Back!!!!!!

well, it wasnt really gone but its been in need of an engine for a few (read 3-4 ) months. took a while to start but it finally fired up. after it got warmed up there was a lot of steam coming from off the exhaust though. during the installation i had spilled some coolant and gotten some oil and crap on the exhaust manifold and that might be it cuz after a while there wasnt near as much steam coming off, but is there anything else to check to see if coolant could be leaking, i put all new coolant hoses on (all the little ones from intake to block etc) so i dont think its those. this morning though i noticed the driver side heater hose leaking from the top and was wondering if it could have been runnig from there to the exhaust side. im positive its not oil, it smells like coolant. oh also, on the coolant reservoir cap one tube runs to the radiator cap and where is the other tube supposed to go??? i dont know if it hooks to something or just hangs loose. anyway at least it is mostly ready to drive, cant wait till tonight when i get the heater hose, its been way too long without the 7.

Hmmmm... you probably should look at the heater hose on the passenger side. On the coolant tank, one hose goes to the radiator cap, the other is just an overflow.
