Got me a 87 RX7

Newbie here just picked up a 87 RX7 NA 13 B with a 5spd.

I think it has the typical water seal problem.

It make the drive home about a 15min trip. Maybe 20miles give or take a few.
I strapped a Antifreeze bottle under the hood as a overflow for the trip home.
Keep a eye on the temp.

Got it home and checked how much it pissed out into the overflow. 2quarts.
For now it will do I'm gonna drive it to work and back which is like 5miles away.
Maybe pull the motor over winter and rebuild the complete thing.

It has
I believe a Pacesetter header??
some kinda cat back
a Ram 6 puck race clutch.

anyways I look forward to messing around with this car. Ive always been into My camaro / mustang / Trans Am. / S10 / Z71

Thanks. I have always liked the RX7.

Can't pass up the deal I got on this one.
I traded a set of Eagle H beam rods I had new in the box for it.
just gives me a reason to buy some carillo rods for my turbo v8 project in the camaro now.

Time to go 13b rebuild kit hunting .

True, if not no biggie. I got it expecting to have to rebuild anyways.
It will give me the change to dive into coating some rotors and housings anyways.

I do Ceramic,Thermal and powder coatings. Ive done ton of pistons, cylinders etc. See what I can do to a rotory car now.
