Got fuel.. got spark.. car still wont turn-over..
ok my car has fuel and spark but still wont turn over. I did the timing to TDC on both crank and CAS. still nothing.. The car sounds like it wants to start but something isn't catching. motor has just been rebuilt so everything should be good in there. any ideas?

mine did the same thing. i didnt check my fuel lines out properly and come to find out i had the regulator before the injectors. it was backwords. i would check the fuel lines. i changed them around and it fired right up.
umm since its a rebuild.. i would do as vato said and pour oil in the spark plug holes.. thats actually part of the instructions in rotary resurrection...

Did it shake if you tried to rev it up a little? Are the mounts in good condition? Are the plugs clean? they may have gotten dirty with the assembly lube or oil used to start the car.
spark plugs are clean... brand new as a matter of fact... i just got another set since i foul the first ones i had. once the car crank over it started with shaking! motor mounts are polyurethane. Idk if those go bad.
If possible, you wouldn't mind taking a video would you?
Do you know the specs of the rebuild from sen2two? Did he use the old housing or put in a new one?
Sounds like maybe a vacuum leak.

@OP. Does it stay running even though it shakes badly? Try driving it around a little bit and see if it gets better.
I had put some oil in to the motor to get it started. so im guess thats why its smoking so lovely..

I'm beat. Aside from the rattling intercooler, it *sounds* fine.No metal shavings on the oil dipstick when you check it I hope?
Have you tried putting any miles on it yet? Or just start it?
Yeah, the noise is the intercooler for sure. The only thing left to do is take it for a test drive. Like I said, my car has low compression and it rattles too, you're could be from low compression also (due to fresh re-build).
The vibrations to eventually even out (they'll never completely go away since you have solid mounts).
Oil changes at 100, 300, 500, and 1000 miles if I remember right. No positive boost until then.
I'd double check all vacuum lines to make sure theirs no leaks. Test drive it for ~50 miles and see if the vibrations get better. After that, all I can say is motor. Although the only internal thing I could think of that would make it vibrate like that is mis-clearanced bearings. Even a wrong counter weight wouldn't make it vibrate THAT bad.

Are you using USDM harness with the n374? I think I read somewhere that you cant use the jdm ecu with the usdm harness because it wont control fuel to rear rotor. Someone correct me if im wrong

all i have done is just start it up
