Dont listen to them or anyone on the forum for that matter. 2000 is a steal and I would never sell it for that price. I have an 89GXL with shitty paint and 28k on complete engine rebuild with ton of mods. Perfect idle to...It should go for 2500 as is but what your talking about if the interior is great and paint to with great compresiion on rebuild I would definatly take it for 4k but nothing more at all...3500 would be a good deal. The mods only devalue the car if you dont plan on modding it in the future. Its a poor excuse to lowball a seller.

Also when going to resell, a car with low miles on the body as well as a good engine is a prime concern. Anything over 100,000 miles radically drops the value.
And this guy has made a car that won't pass emissions, so it can't be sold except as a race car for off road (read raceway) use in California, well alone questionable things like removal of the 5th/6th ports and VDI and how was that TB mod done??? To top that off he even thinks the car should be worth more because the brake fluid has been changed... big wow its a 30 minute job that should be done every year.
Sorry, it screams power over driveabilty and when driveability drops so does value.
To add on top of that, most 'verts I have seen over the last couple of months on dealer lots are selling for under $4k, with 88 and 89's going for around $3k... a 89 'vert is worth $500 to $1K more than a 89 coupe.
