Good place to get motor rebuilt or buy reman. motor?

Hi,

I might be looking for a motor rebuilt and street ported. Anyone know of a good place (close to Bay Area is better, but other places will do as well)? What are the typical prices for rebuilt or buying a rebuilting motor? anyone know approx. how much shops charge to drop in a motor (labor charge)? Thanks in advance,

Rebuild with streetport- Atkins, Hayes, Mazdatrix and some other place, just do a search...

Reman- Any Mazda dealer.. too bad they dont do streetport for warranty purposes...=(

cost is $1950 (that's including rebuilt engine $1500, porting $250, and core $200) for an s4 13bt
